Isolation
Isolation is used for any animal with a communicable disease. We have a separate external door, so the animal doesn't enter in or exit thru reception. Gloves, separate coveralls and lab coats as well as a virkon foot bath are used here. Everything is disinfected twice daily while this room is being used.
